One thing is that nothing like this could ever happen again.  The "ones in
power" are much better at covert psychological attacks to control the
narrative and don't need explicit assassinations and show trials any more.

So, although this trial was great entertainment and of historical
significance, I'm not sure it can help with or influence any current
political situations.
