Basically, my mom never hugged me when I was growing up.  And I was fine
with that.  Whenever we went to my grandparents's, my grandmother would
always hug us when we left, and I always hated that.  (Actually, both Cory
and Kathy would hug me the few times of the year that we saw them
together, and, again, didn't care much for it.)

So, yeah, the aversion started early for me.
