"The climate crisis is an interesting case, because saving the planet is
often the reason people give for deciding to have fewer or no children
â rather than, say, improving living standards for
their fellow humans more directly â but
itâs not clear what impact such decisions will have
on the climate." Well, this ignores the moral imperative of sparing the
suffering of offspring having to live through the climate crisis.
This also ignores the concept of a humane human extinction where the Earth
can repair itself without us.
