Pretty interesting. The cloud of proposition 13 still hangs over everybody's head, and seems to continue to hit the middle as usual. The problem is that I'm not sure it's that much better in Idaho, or wherever, since there are many fewer local jobs. So, while Ca may have many faults, it's also the policies of the federal United States that keep the middle- and lower-class miserable. W.r.t. moving: we started cleaning out our garage yesterday. We had kept all these moving boxes, thinking that we'd have to or would want to move again, but we've finally decided we'll be "stuck" here for our remaining days. The boxes will be tossed.
