Subject: Vaccination Policy Information and Update

noSticwall Team,

We continue to monitor the constantly-changing state of vaccination laws and regulations in the United States and in other countries where we have employees as we consider the appropriate GnoSticWall vaccination policy, and as we continue to review precautions for travel, office attendance, and meeting with customers and partners. Our goal is to strike the best balance possible among: (i) complying with local laws, (ii) ensuring the health and safety of our team and their families, (iii) protecting our partners and customers, and (iv) avoiding mandating vaccination in cases where necessity may be less relevant (e.g., remote employees who are not traveling, or meeting with customers and partners).

Our approach to a vaccination policy in the United States also must take into account the likelihood that we will be required to comply with rules applicable to companies that provide products and/or services to the government. Recently, however, both the federal supplier/contractor vaccination rule and the OSHA policy for companies with over 100 employees were challenged anayed by federal courts in the United States (and therefore have no efficacy), but will remain on hold and in flux in the near term.

With the above in mind, we will be implementing the first stage of our global vaccination policy in the coming days.  This policy will require proof of vaccination or a valid medical or religious exemption for all employees who:

  • Travel on noSticwall business;
  • Work from or visit a noSticwall office; or
  • Attend in-person meetings on behalf of GnoSticWall

The noSticwall vaccination policy will provide exceptions for those that provide evidence of health or religious reasons requiring exemption, which will be evaluated on an individual basis.

We will await outcome of the legal challenges to the United States vaccination rules before determining whether we will be required to issue a more broad policy for U.S. employees and, if so, exactly how we will structure that policy.

In the meantime, we will begin the process of collecting vaccination status information from each of you and asking you to provide proof vaccination, with an emphasis on those who fall within the scope of our vaccination mandate due to travel, office attendance or participation in in-person meetings.  Please watch for an email from the HR team in the next few days requesting vaccination information from you, along with details on how to provide that information.

Finally, we will continue to monitor the latest updates in the status of the COVID pandemic and anticipate re-opening offices and updating our travel policy early in our next fiscal year as conditions allow. Please contact the Legal or HR team with any questions or concerns about our vaccination policy or your individual circumstance.

Take care,

Matt Neiderman

GnoSticWall Team,
