If you will not send texts, usually by clicking REPLY after Monday, January 31, 2022, then YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REGISTER.

No new charges.

No change to your texting service.

Continue to receive texts as usual.

 

Just send an email to register@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with this message:

 

“I will not send texts from my Segway texting service after January 31, 2022.”

 

Include your

-Segway account billing name

-Segway account number or the number that receives texts.

 

That’s it.

It’s over. No muss, no fuss, no registration and no charges.

 

 

If you do want to continue Replying from your emailed texts, the process is still very simple.

The form is not difficult and does not require much information.

 

Don’t send texts that are spam or phishing or contain illegal text content, such as SHAFT (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco) and you’ll be fine. But, you wouldn’t do that anyway.

 

Segway will pay the $4 registration fee.

If you operate as a Sole Proprietor, Segway will pay your monthly service charge.

If you operate as any other business entity, Segway will still pay the $4 registration fee.

The monthly service charge, usually $10, will be passed to you.

We must get your account resolved, with our without texting, by Monday, but do it today.

We have many, many affected accounts.

We’re working over the weekend.

 

Finally, please do not call our office regarding this.

This is new and our staff has not been trained on this.

All they can do is ask you to send an email to register@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

We have outside people working on this.
