It may be that our individualized, atomized society has brought us to this
point, where only an army of lone wolves can take charge and win the
battle and perhaps the war. A war against democracy, of course. Perhaps
this is the natural outcome of Ayn Rand's Objectivist philosophy, except
without a single ubermench, but a whole lot of Howard Roarks, running
around, raging against everything, and bullying everybody.
