Better than what?  It would certainly be faster than our DSL.  The problem
with our DSL is the phone Central Office is 1.4 miles away.  So, our bits
go back and forth over 1.4 miles.

The downside is that it's no longer Plain Old Telephone Service.  So, if
we lose our electricity, we'd be without phone service.  However, with
solar panels, we would have constant electricity and never lose phone
service.
