Yeah, this is what I was just talking about: technology seems to cement
the existing social, cultural, and political structures.  Which is
unfortunate.  Seems like technology could be used to free us, but instead
it's used to bind us to the status quo.

As usual, it comes down to who controls the workplace.  It would be a lot
better if the employees controlled it, rather than the boss who wish to
solidify their power.
