The Prius Plug-in 2016 was the last year when they had the spacious
hatchback. Starting with 2017, it was reduced to that of a standard
sedan. ('Tho, the Prius Prime 2017 does have the spacious hatchback, but
without a built-in CD player.)
The range of the electric drive for these hybrid plug-ins is only about 20
miles, which is about enough to get us through our standard weekend
errands, but nothing more.
