It is ironic that a jew, Gene Wilder, played Willie Wonka, given Roald
Dahl's anti-semitism.
It does make you think about what an enormous effort it would be to
reverse beliefs, such as race hierarchies, and power hierarchies in
general, given that these cultural cues are surrounding all of us all the
time.
