I see the problem. Zoom says that if you try to download the client, the "join by browser" option will become available. But, that apparently requires that you joined the meeting via an authentication method (email, Google, etc.). But, then you have to authorize yourself to access the meeting at that point, which is a pain. If we want to do this in the future, instead of trying to use the old cell phone, it would probably be better to install Zoom on your phone and connect your phone to the stereo receiver amplifier instead. (We should probably buy a tablet that runs Linux instead of all this, since it's obvious that Zoom is progressive enough to support Linux, and that would be better than depending on the old cell phone, which Zoom refuses to support.)
