It is interesting to think about never being able to retire and never
owning a house and never having kids and never enjoying your entire life,
whether you really can care about the end of the world, whether that comes
via a nuclear holocaust or through a burning climate catastrophe. Maybe
these young people have a choice. If the system is stacked against you
ever really living life, then why care about anything?
