Did you contact Elizabeth to find out whether she already sent all of this to Nicholas? > From: Nicholas Simard <http://www.valleywater.org/~NSimard> > Date: Mon, 17 Apr 2023 20:15:00 +0000 > > Hello Noelle, > It was great meeting you on Saturday, below I have listed out the post-inspection checklist for the graywater rebate, feel free to log back into your rebate application or send the photos here for upload. I can send the "Caution Graywater " labels by mail should you need some. > > Congratulations on completing your graywater project! The next step in order to receive the $200 rebate is successfully completing the virtual post-inspection. To do this, login into your Graywater application ,https://cloud.valleywater.org/ords/r/appweb/graywater-laundry-to-landscape-rebate-program/login, and navigate to your application to upload the post-inspection pictures. I’ll do what I can to help us complete this process without requiring an onsite visit. > Materials to Upload > Please review this list along with the attached Graywater Post Inspection Checklist to complete your virtual post-inspection. > Clothes Washer Area > * Photo of the diverter valve and auto vent > * Photo of clothes washer set up, fully visible > * Photo of where you store the owner’s manual (it should be near the clothes washer and ideally in a protective sleeve or some kind) > * Photo of sign that directs how to orient the valve to send graywater to the landscape or sewer. (See attached example) > > Pipes > * A photo of the pipe leaving the house so I can see the wall’s properly sealed or patched or otherwise secure > * A photo of labeling on exposed pipe. A label should be present every 5-feet of exposed pipe. “Caution: nonpotable graywater. Do not drink.” You may also label the valve box lids (underside), but do not worry about labeling any buried pipes. > * If you need labels, I can have some mailed to you. Please proceed with the virtual post-inspection instead of waiting to receive these. > > Landscaping > * 2 landscape photos, fully visible > * Close ups of 2 valve boxes with lid open. Preferably with water running. > * If a valve box is near your property line or your foundation, include a photo with a measuring tape showing it’s farther than 18 inches away from the property line and/or from your foundation > * A photo showing the last outlet that maintains the full-diameter irrigation tubing. No valve or emitter is allowed on the last outlet. > * I recommend submitting video(s) of you doing a walkthrough of your system while it’s running to make sure it’s installed properly. I’m open to talking about it or seeing what you submit and going from there. > > Attachments > * The post-inspection checklist: Graywater Post Inspection Checklist.pdf . If you’re not sure what something means or how it’s relevant to your property, please follow up with me to make sure the project passes. > * The diverter valve has to be labeled, here is an example: Labeling Three Way Diverter Photos_Sample.pdf > * You’ll need an owner’s manual, this sample should be edited to be specific to your property. > > Typically, there is some follow up via email where I request some clarification photos or a short video. Don’t worry about getting everything perfect with your first attempt at uploading. > Let me know if you have any questions or concerns or need additional labels! > > Best, > > NICHOLAS SIMARD > Pronouns: He/Him/ His > WATER CONSERVATION SPECIALIST I > > Water Supply Planning & Conservation Unit > http://www.valleywater.org/~NSimard > Tel.
