There is very little danger in where-I-live becoming San Francisco.

I like this attitude: "For Curtis Lai, owner of the downtown
Mommy’s Banh Mi on East San Fernando Street, the
solution comes down to more people watching out for one another and less
fear-mongering about crime. That means more people coming to patronize the
city’s businesses."
