Ca's First Co-op Brewery
A Celebration of Cooperation with BSCAA
Saturday May 20,  1 to 4 PM
The  Student Cooperative is celebrating its 90th anniversary, and in 
honor of this we are hosting a beer, pizza and dessert party. We are featuring 
A Slice of New York Pizza and dessert from Niles Pie Company, which are both 
co-ops. And of course we will be pouring our Pixelation Porter and Sud-Nord 
Saison. This is a joint event with the  Student Cooperative Alumni 
Association.
The BSC was founded during the depths of the Great Depression when students 
were struggling to be able to stay in school with the high costs of food and 
housing. They banded together to found the University of Ca Students' 
Cooperative Association and 90 years later the BSC has almost1300 members! The 
BSCAA was founded in 1996 to support the BSC, and to help BSC alumni keep in 
touch.
