I couldn't find any electric can opener that ultimately repairable.
Overall, the over-the-top electric can openers are more reliable, but,
then, they can have tops that cut into your hand.

Seems like the OXO manual can opener we have got lots of good reviews.
Maybe the best strategy here is to stay with that until we both have such
bad arthritis that we need an electric can opener.
