Thank you for purchasing a Santa Clara County Parks Venture Pass. We hope that 
you will receive many hours of enjoyment from your purchase. To avoid any 
misunderstandings, please review the following rules regarding the use of your 
pass: 1. Venture Passes are valid every day from 8:00 a.m. to sunset at all 
County Parks. Annual Passes are not applicable for camping, boating 
reservations, special park events or other park use fees. 2. Venture Passes 
are valid for one year from the date of purchase. 3. Even though your pass 
entitles you to free entry to the park, you must make a full stop when 
entering so personnel may inspect your pass for authenticity. 4. Venture 
Passes (both vehicle and vessel) are to be affixed to the proper location of 
the vehicle upon entry to the park. **Venture Passes for both vehicle and 
vessels shall be affixed to the lower left-hand corner of the front windshield 
(pass shall be affixed to the inside of the window facing the outside). 5. 
Annual Venture Passes are non-refundable and current full purchase price is 
required to replace lost or stolen passes. Damaged or unreadable passes will 
be exchanged at no charge when the damaged or unreadable pass is surrendered 
to a park office. 6. Annual Passes are only valid for parks that are operated 
by the County of Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Department (not federal, 
state or local city parks, examples: Pinnacles, Henry Coe, or Sunnyvale 
Baylands).

Annual Vessel Inspection and Launch Pass

Vessel Inspection and Launch Pass – Registered and Non-Registered
1. Pass entitles you to one vessel inspection or launch per park entry unless 
otherwise specified on pass. Inspection pass does not entitle the bearer to 
skip inspection.
2. Vessels on trailers that pass inspection will be banded by Park Staff after 
leaving the water for the day. If band is intact when arriving for next launch,
 no inspection will be necessary.
3. Non-trailered vessels including Stand-Up Paddleboards and Float Tubes must 
be inspected EACH TIME they enter Santa Clara County waterways. A dated 
inspection receipt will be provided.
4. Your vessel must be clean and dry AND you must have your vessel 
registration with you. Vessels registered out of state and all counties south 
of the Tehachapi Mountains are banned from Santa Clara County waterways.
5. Inspection Stations are in place during boating season at Anderson Lake, 
Calero Reservoir, Coyote Lake, Stevens Creek Reservoir, and Lexington 
Reservoir. Please contact the park office for availability outside of boating 
season.

TICKETS MUST BE PRINTED AND PLACED ON YOUR DASHBOARD. Uvas Canyon County Park 
has implemented a parking reservation system. Starting January 1st, 2021, 
parking reservations will be required 7 days a week. Visitors must now book a 
parking spot in advance for a six-dollar vehicle entry fee. The time slot 
reservation is an arrival time, not a limited amount of time permitted in the 
park. Each reservation is valid for one (1) vehicle for specified date and 
time ONLY.
Please make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to arrive within your 
ticketed time slot. As long as you are in line within your time slot, your 
ticket will be honored, although exact entry time is subject to traffic 
volume. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed entry and will be subject to 
traffic volume. Please have your ticket ready prior to arriving at the park 
entrance. TICKETS MUST BE PRINTED AND PLACED ON YOUR DASHBOARD.
Park operations runs rain or shine. All ticket sales are final: no refunds, 
transfers, or exchanges. If Santa Clara County Parks closes the park due to 
harsh weather or unsafe conditions, you will be issued a refund for the ticket 
price.

Uvas Canyon County Park is located at the end of Croy Road in Uvas Canyon. 
Please drive carefully as portions of Croy Road can be narrow.
FROM HIGHWAY 101, take Bernal Road west. Turn left on Santa Teresa Boulevard. 
Travel south 3 miles and turn right onto Bailey Avenue. Follow Bailey Road 2.3 
miles to McKean Road. Turn left onto McKean Road (McKean Road becomes Uvas 
Road 2.2 miles south of Bailey Road). From Bailey Road travel 6 miles south on 
McKean/Uvas Road and turn right onto Croy Road. Continue 4.4 miles on Croy 
Road, through Sveadal, to reach the Park entrance. Sveadal is a private resort 
belonging to the Swedish American Patriotic League. Please respect their 
privacy and drive slowly as you pass through Sveadal.
