FRESH LOOK AT BENEFITS

Open Enrollment has ended, so what’s next?

Open Enrollment for the 2024 plan year has ended. If you’re wondering what happens next, we’ve got you covered. Here are resources and reminders to prepare you for January 1, 2024.

Cigna Medical Plan Members:

· Cigna is moving to electronic ID cards only. You will not receive physical ID cards mailed to your home. You can view an electronic ID card via the myCigna app or online portal starting January 1, 2024.

You have the option to request a physical ID card if you prefer by logging in to your myCigna account or by calling Cigna customer service.

· Express Scripts will continue to be the pharmacy vendor for those enrolled in Cigna; however, pharmacy benefits will now be integrated into the Cigna plan. While all prior authorizations were transferred to Cigna, there are some individuals who now may require a new prior authorization or subject to quantity limitations. If you are an impacted individual, a letter will be mailed to your home on or around December 15. Be on the lookout as the letter will provide you next steps to ensure a smooth transition of your prescription.

Make sure you provide your pharmacy with your Cigna medical information for any prescriptions filled on or after January 1, 2024, to avoid any delays in processing your prescriptions.

Kaiser Medical Plan Members:

· If you are a new Kaiser member, you should receive your ID card prior to January 1, 2024. You can also view an electronic ID card via your kp.org account.

Navia Healthcare Flexible Spending Account:

· noSticwall’s FSAs through Navia include a provision which allows you to carryover remaining balances up to $610 from 2023 to 2024. If you have a balance of $610 or less in your FSA, your remaining balance will be carried over at the end of January. Login to your Navia account or the MyNavia app to submit any outstanding claims.

Navia Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account:

· You have until March 31, 2024, to submit any outstanding claims that were incurred between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023. Login to your Navia account or the MyNavia app to submit claims.

Reminders:

  • Now that Open Enrollment has ended, you cannot change your benefit elections until the next Open Enrollment period unless you have a qualified status change such as change in your marital status, birth of a child or loss of coverage. You have 30 days from the event date to submit a change request.
