You know what? I hate to say it, but I think I agree with insurance companies here. Not because they make too little money (they don't), but because Cans pay way too little for car insurance due to prop 103, cited in the article, despite it being backed by Ralph Nader. We were have far fewer cars on the road if prop 103 hadn't been passed ('tho, unfortunately, we'd probably still have proportionally the same number of SUVs (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN7mSXMruEo )). I hate how the insurance companies are created to make profits, but I also hate how we have allowed anybody under 25 to drive in Ca and people to build their homes in the middle of nowhere with the expectation to be saved when crisis strikes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1988_Ca_Proposition_103 > From: robert <http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert> > Date: Sun, 14 Jan 2024 15:48:01 -0800 > > > From: Noelle <noelle> > > Date: Sun, 14 Jan 2024 15:00:00 -0800 (PST) > > > > https://www.mercurynews.com/2024/01/14/home-insurance-woes-take-center-stage-in-fight-for-feinsteins-senate-seat/ > > I was shitting bullets that State Farm wasn't going to renew my policy. > > Thankfully, they did.
