into the Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) program, and your Dashboard has not 
been updated with the issue date of your building permit. To access your

documents and update the information on your Dashboard.  Here are some 
suggestions to help you in this process:

   your behalf by following the instructions on the Homeowner Dashboard.
   *  Your contractor can get the building permit from your local building 
   department OR you can obtain it on your own. Links to Building Department

   *  IMPORTANT NOTE: Your building permit MUST reference your retrofit as 
   being either, “in accordance with Standard Plan Set A”, “in 
   accordance with Los Angeles Standard  Plan Set #1”  or "in accordance 
   with Chapter A3 of the CEBC." 

You or your contractor must upload the building permit and pre-retrofit photos 
to your Homeowner Dashboard within the next sixty (60) days to continue in the 
program.  
Once your permit and pre-retrofit photos are uploaded and approved by EBB, 
they will be forwarded to FEMA for review. After receiving approval from FEMA, 
EBB will let you know that the retrofit work may begin. To remain eligible for 
the grant, retrofit construction work must not begin before receiving 
notification from EBB that FEMA has approved you to move ahead.
