According to my back-of-the-envelope calculations, I was biking about 288 minutes per week and walking about 60 minutes per week when I was commuting to work regularly. Amortized over a week, it would have been about 70 minutes every work week day or 50 minutes every single day. Translated into steps, thats about 5000 steps every single day. Maybe an initial goal of 50 minutes of exercise per day is more realistic. That should be a choice of * 1 gym visit, or * a ride to the PostOffice and back plus 3000 steps, or * a walk to the PostOffice and back, or * some other 5000 step walk excursion, or * possibly a 1-hour yoga, or * a 50-minute low-impact HIIT workout
