I think Haidt is too nuanced. For example, https://righteousmind.com/three-stories-about-capitalism/ seems to argue both sides of capitalism, but it's obvious that capitalism is an outcome of the dominance paradigm and authoritarian hierarchies. Someone, somewhere, will always use violence as an outlet to control power, and, whether that power is economic or in another form, power over resources and people is always the goal. I believe that only through a non-violent society and culture is any sort of true economic, or any other, system possible. In any case, I think even his argument about teens being denied access to smart phones is also quite nuanced. It's hard to imagine any concrete policies based on these arguments.
