Seismic Retrofit Installation Scheduling and EBB Next Steps

Seismic Retrofit Installation Scheduling and EBB Next Steps

Hi Robert,

Thank you for choosing us to help protect your home and get through the EBB
process!

The next step is for you to select us as your contractor via your EBB
dashboard
<https://app.builderprime.com/click-link?c=yHPT6d3Dx201Zi3xkQy9XdiZV&m=2944565>
.
(BoltDownTheBayArea.com
<https://app.builderprime.com/click-link?c=GqY1Fpwzjtv0oGBP69FPX46wN&m=2944565>,

lic# 801910). When on your dashboard: Select Hire a Contractor > Save >
Enter our License #801910 > Save > Upload your Estimate > Hire Contractor.

If you use either Bolt Down The Bay Area or our license #801910, all of our
license, workers comp insurance, and bonding info will load automatically.
Be sure to grant us “upload privileges” at the end of the process as well -
this allows us to upload all the assets EBB requires to document your
retrofit.

Please note: EBB requires a form of ‘proof of residency’ to be uploaded
(disregard this step if in the CEA BB program) - This can be a utility
bill, driver's license, or current year property tax bill and can be
uploaded by navigating to the 'Building Permits' tab on your dashboard - If
you have any issues with this process, EBB support is very helpful.
877-232-4300.

EBB also requires that you upload a copy of the estimate that you have
accepted from us during this part of the process as well. This can be
uploaded within the 'Select a Contractor' section of the dashboard. We will
handle uploading the remaining items to meet your **Phase 1 deadline
requirements.

**Now that you have hired us as your contractor, please do not be concerned
about your EBB phase 1 deadline requirements being met in time (also feel
free to ignore any emails you receive from EBB reminding you how much time
you have left before your phase 1 deadline). We guarantee that your grant
funds will never be in jeopardy as we monitor your deadline closely and
also request / confirm extensions to the deadline directly with EBB on your
behalf if needed (if the permit is taking longer than expected).

We're starting to book EBB program clients now with install dates that will
provide enough time from for the pulling of the permit (3-8 weeks) and the
FEMA Project approval process (10+ weeks). In general, there's roughly
about 14-20 total weeks of waiting and approval processes for us to get
through.

*We have your 1 day project installation scheduled for:

Installation Date: 6/19/24
Completion Date: 6/19/24

We will be in touch with you to coordinate and adjust if needed pending the
actual approval process timing. Please confirm this date works for you for
now because we might need to adhere to it.

Your project is now in the queue to have your plans drawn up and permit
request submitted - We will be in touch once that has been done. If you
have any questions about your Permit Status or EBB along the way, please
feel free to contact either of our In-House Specialist directly:
