Congratulations! Your application has been approved and a check has been issued and is in the mail. Depending on how you filled out your Payment Authorization Form, either you or your contractor will receive a check in the mail within 7-14 days.
You can now access your Dwelling Retrofit Verification (DRV) Form on your Homeowner Dashboard, which provides verification of your seismic retrofit.

If you are a CEA policyholder, you are now eligible to receive up to a 25 percent discount on your CEA earthquake insurance premium. To receive a discount, you send the completed form to your homeowners insurance company for processing.

Also, remember to review your local County Assessor’s or State Board of Equalization’s website regarding what you can do to ensure your seismic retrofit work does not trigger a reassessment of your property for tax purposes.

Please take a moment to write a short review (up to 500 characters) about the Contractor who worked on your Retrofit project. These reviews are very helpful to other participating Homeowners and you can do it quickly and easily from your Homeowner Dashboard by opening the Contractor Information section and clicking the “Write a Contractor Review” button.
