How are you going to do this?
I guess you could start collecting money now and set a deadline of when
you'll buy the tickets, e.g., end of this week. Then, at least, some
people will be able to sit together.
Does everybody do Paypal? If so, they could pay you using Paypal, and
then you could buy the tickets.
Does Barbara have Venmo? If so, she could be the point person for Venmo
users and then she could pay you back later, perhaps via Paypal or in cash
or some other way.
So, yeah, a long way of saying "I agree".
