A couple of years ago, I pulled my Linear Algebra book off my shelf and
was looking through it, to see if I actually did learn about eigenvectors
and eigenvalues.  I looked at other parts, too, and went through some of
the exercises in my head.  Then, I stumbled upon a piece of paper stuck in
the book in which I had actually done the exercises at the time!  I was
very surprised that the way that I had done the exercises in my head were
nearly identical to the way that I had written them out.
