Yeah, lots of good points.  OTOH, copper cannot possibly compete with
fiber in terms of speed.

Seems like this is really more of the usual problem: income inequality.
Ruralites are generally less affluent and cannot afford to get adequate
cell service installed near them, not even crappy service.  Seems like
Republicans would have more of an incentive to help these people, but
their ideology stops them, I think.
