I'm glad I signed the petition. We'll see if it makes it to the ballot.
But, again, unfortunately, I don't expect it to pass because most
Cans are delusional in the belief that they will all be
billionaires one day.
Adding on, Paul Graham, the co-founder of seed capital firm Y Combinator,
wrote: âItâs important that
people like Zuck and Larry Page are willing to move in response to the
proposed wealth tax. It shows politicians what will happen if they try
things like this.â
Further, it shows that we don't really need these people here. They are
useless parasites, expropriating profits from their workers. Maybe if
enough of the super-rich leave, the workers can finally take over the
companies instead of being run by crony bosses.
