RE: problems with American Voicemail account: unable to send SMS messages

I am receiving text messages fine at my-Oakland-voicemail-number.  It's when I try to
send to our-Oakland-cell-phone-number (via the email gateway address specified below) that
text messages are not getting through.

And, no, I was not replying to a text message but was initiating a new
message.  ('Tho, last week, I tried replying to messages and those did not
work, either.)
