Greta is very wise for her age.

Although Americans aren't being killed by the thousands like in the
Vietnam War, it was definitely all the marches against that war that
stopped it.  And, many marches in the other countries have brought down
leaders.  So, I do think protests can change things, but it takes a while
and, really, for the most part, gatherings like these just sets down the
scaffolding for bigger things down the road.
