Yeah.  I've seen this argument about Mythos before.  It might be true.

But, not all AI is innocuous.  The last 2 weeks of having to reboot our
computers is the result of AI analyzing the Linux kernel and finding
critical bugs.

However, the sentiment about AI probably right: it's being overused and
oversold, only to benefit the system of surveillance capitalism.
