According to various searches, civil disobedience never includes violence
against individuals; some think there should be no violence whatsoever,
including property; others think that violence against property is covered
under the umbrella of civil disobedience.  (Notably, the Plowshares
movement, a Christian pacifist organization, damaged equipment for
manufacturing nuclear weapons.)
