These statements are definitely made through the eyes of an American. I
doubt that many other peoples would even consider having this point of
view.
That said, I agree with Miller in that, if given the choice, even with
less security or safety, I am inclined to opt for freedom. I would hope
that such a choice would not be necessary, but that's how I see it.
