the Halting Problem

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnMnXsmxoHc This video had me until he said "In fact, I I have largely operated under the assumption that a program can't tell if it's going to halt. And now we have things that appear to know when a program is going to halt." To quote the great Homey from the 90's TV show In Living Color, "I don't think so". Maybe he was being funny, but he must know that it was proven many years ago ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halting_problem ) that you cannot know apriori whether a given program will terminate or not. If this Youtuber says that it's "magical" that the AI knows this, then rather than magic, it's pure delusion.
