https://archive.is/M47pS They didn't explicitly mention this in this story, but this "graying of America" could be directly related to the aging of Americans, i.e., the number of older people continues to grow. I guess my bigger question is: when did buying a car or a house start becoming a fungible, safe investment? (As aside: Millennials are also a big cohort, so there's still a little bit of time before the US population begins to shrink.)
