monopoly capitalism

I just started watching this.  This guy is a self-identified Libertarian.
I guess he likes this book because it argues from a systemic point of view
that most state-based capitalist countries tend toward a monopoly
capitalism.  From what the video says, it seems like a similar argument to
Piketty's in that capitalism creates stratified societies which, in the
long run, leave the poor behind.

Not sure.  I'll watch more later.

Oddly, if you look at another video about the same book
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ex9l4WZSPBI ), it seems to indicate that
this book is about imperialism and capitalism.
