Dear Sonic.net Customer, Your DSL due date has arrived but we have not been able to detect any DSL traffic on your line. Please take this time to setup your DSL equipment and attempt to get your DSL service working. SBC DSL speed ramp-ups: ----------------------- SBC monitors new DSL circuits trying to determine the fastest stable Internet connection. If you do not use the circuit, SBC may, over the next week, lower (cap) your DSL speeds trying to stabilize the line. Therefore, to attain the best possible download speeds, you should connect and start using your DSL service right away. DSL line filters: ----------------- If you ordered a DSL modem with your DSL order, you should have received several DSL line filters with your self-install kit. Please note that you must connect the provided line filters to any non-DSL equipment connected to the DSL phone number. This includes telephones, fax machines, etc. All of these devices must have a filter to avoid problems. You should NOT connect a filter to the DSL modem as it must be connected directly to the phone jack in the wall. SBC's DSL billing process: -------------------------- It is SBC's policy to begin the billing of your DSL service on your due date, which is today. It is important to remember that you will be billed for this service from the due date forward even if you are not using the DSL circuit. If there are problems with your DSL installation, let us know so that we can identify them as quickly as possible. If you need further assistance with your DSL service, please call Sonic.net technical support or reply to this email.
