I have only run dual processors with x86 machines, not Sun machines. When I do, I installed a SMP-enabled kernel to get the dual processors to both be used. Having never run Linux on a Sun machine, I can only guess that you probably need to do the same thing -- find a SMP-enabled kernel, or else re-compile the kernel with SMP enabled.
