Quite possible. Look at http://windowshelp.macrosoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/f59082f4-6385-4a61-ba7e-2de9625a780a1033.mspx and determine your Windows Experience Index. > I > did disc cleanup and disc defragmenter, but it is still very slow. Do > you have any suggestions or do you think we need a new computer? I wouldn't do that unless you need to. If you have some time, this guide has some useful advice: http://windowshelp.macrosoft.com/Windows/en-US/help/83ec0ffe-ee04-4d53-8b87-25d1f05c954e1033.mspx Finally, Outlook and Internet Explorer will always be slow. My computer laptop at work, even with Windows Vista, is fairly fast (2.4gHz and 2 gig mem) and every program runs reasonably except Outlook and IE. If possible, use something other than Outlook for email and use Firefox for web browsing instead. (Of course, if there's nothing Windows-specific that you need to run, you could always use Ubuntu GNU/Linux. It's blindingly fast now with the latest upgrade...) > Flora
