OK, I called Toyota Sunnyvale.
Here's the deal.
1) The technicians that program the Prius for the new key fob are only
available during the week.
2) They are open from 7am to 6pm.
3) It takes about 2 hours to program it.
4) The Prius smart key fob cost $233 and installation is $130. So, it's
about $370 total.
I made the appointment for 8am on Thursday. I figure I can drive the car
to work and get it done on my way to work.
If you're interested in saving the $370, I highly recommend your stopping
by VTA Lost and Found and looking for your key (if there's any particular
way to distinguish it).
Someone also said that it's possible to copy existing keys:

Think it's worth trying out? It may be slightly cheaper.
