Meetup Description

This vineyard is situated among rolling hills, just minutes away from suburban Cupertino. It is located in a historic ranch and the tasting room dates back to 1896. There are a few tame peacocks on the grounds, which add their own charm to an already beautiful setting. I thought it would be fun to do a tasting of some of their wines, followed by a picnic lunch outside.

We will do a group tasting, which will include a taste of 5 out of their 18 wines. The wines will be pre-selected by the winery. At $5 per person for 5 wines, it's not a bad bargain at all.

We will meet at 11:15 am in the parking lot adjacent to the tasting room and begin the tasting at 11:30 am.

Please carry a packed lunch with you - either from home, or you can pick something up on the way. We can have a picnic outside on the picnic tables, once we are done with the tasting, followed by a short walk on the grounds.

Group Tasting:
For groups of 10 or more, the winery folks pre-select the wines that they will pour. If you plan on purchasing any wine from them, they will give us a 10% discount if we buy at least a total of 12 bottles. The discount is 28% if we buy more than 12 bottles total. So if you want to stock up on your wine, this is a great opportunity to do that.

Cost:
$5 per person for the tasting.
$2 per person to help cover the organizer fees charged by Meetup.
There are no refunds if you cancel - please read the refund policy carefully before signing up.
