Hi,
There's some interest in forming a vegan/high-raw permaculture community in . We'd rent an affordable house or loft for 5 to 20 vegans of all ages--single, couples, and kids. Artists and those involved with creativity would be especially welcome.
The ideal place will have garden space in the yard and/or on the roof and a landlord open to putting in a grey-water system and off-grid energy, recycling, and composting. It would be near BART and shops to further minimize our environmental impact.
We will begin by meeting and talking about what we want. Then we can start looking, with the goal of September 2011 as our move-in date. If it happens sooner, even better. Let’s find a place we really like.
There can also be a group for those who want co-housing with the legal structure for buying a home together. Anyone interested in either is welcome at this meeting. Maybe we'll see you there.
