OK, did more research. I found that the main problem is not with the software, but with the internet protocol. It seems that there are a lot limitations of ekiga.net, not with the software itself. So, I registered sip:http://dummy.us.eu.org/noelleg . I recommend registering with iptel.org at http://serweb.iptel.org/user/reg/ Be sure to use a weak password which you don't care about (such as the one you use for stumbleupon). I suggest using the user name "richard" so it's the same as your ekiga.net account. After doing that, you can use any SIP-capable iPhone chat application, such as fring, or, as below, linphone. > From: http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert (Robert) > Date: Sun, 24 Jul 2011 08:43:38 -0700 > > > From: http://www.juno.com/~bhavaniowl > > Date: Sun, 24 Jul 2011 09:33:58 -0400 > > > > WE found the webcam and it's ready to hook up ...then we can hook up with > > U!!!
