If you go the "Let Members suggest new Meetups" section in http://www.meetup.com/South-Bay-DINKs-and-SINKs/manage/settings/basic/ and set "Yes" and then slide the slider to "A member suggests them" and then click "Submit" at the bottom, then you should be good.
