We've been "forming" for years.

I just sent you an invite to get on the mailing list.  It's pretty inactive, so you shouldn't be overwhelmed.

I also suggest joining http://www.meetup.com/SouthBayCohousing/ .

Feel free to organize a meeting to talk.

There has been very little interest in cohousing for the last few years, probably because of the housing meltdown.  But, maybe now's the time to get things going again -- who knows?

Anyway, maybe you can revive interest in this.

Hello!
I found you on the website of the Cohousing Association of the US. The fact that you are just “forming” does not discourage me, as I am looking for a long-term solution to my residential aspirations! The timing could work out just fine. At the moment I am living in the old family house in Saratoga, having re-entered after 30 years abroad. This house will soon be sold, and while I hate to leave, I look forward to something new and even better suited to me.  I grew up in this region, went to college at Stanford, but spent most of my adult life in Italy! Coming back has been a wonderful homecoming, though not without some wistfulness for the beautiful country I left. But home is a very good place to be, and having been gone so long, I really appreciate everything the Bay Area has to offer. So yes, I’d love to hear more about
 “Silicon Valley Cohousing”.
