I, of course, disagree with this.  I like my machines and, while I try to
minimize the amount that I depend upon them, find them useful for
accomplishing various tasks.

Homework?  Over the summer?

You should look up the book "The Homework Myth" by Alfie Kohn.

I used to do this.  Until I found that I was spending all my time playing
the game and talking about the game and all that.  I gave it up cold
turkey and handed my player role to somebody else.

I find writing computer games much more fun.
