I like to get questions out of the way which are important to me. In my case, these are how much the job aligns to my ideal job and ones which will probably not come out in the regular interview back-and-forth banter. These questions are primarily related to the environment of the workplace such as company policies and restrictions on computer use, whether there are cubicles or not, team cohesion and unity, management style, lifestyles of the team members, and long-term viability of the company. Of course, these questions are couched carefully within more subtle questions so as to not offend anybody or be confrontational, yet aim to get to the underlying answer. -Robert
