I tried to help your dad speed up his computer.  Unfortunately, the max
amount of memory that his laptop supports is only 4GB.  That just won't
cut the mustard, especially since he already has almost that much.

He doesn't want to go through the trouble of buying a new laptop and
transferring all the data and software to a new one.  I offered that, if
we go down there and he buys a new laptop, I can help him do the transfer.

BTW: he said that we are welcome to go down to S.B. since they cannot go
to Gail's daughter this year.
