It appears that some anti-virus software will uninstall Firefox extensions. So, it's possible that you'll have to reinstall AdBlock Plus again at some point. (I'm pretty sure I installed it on your laptop's Firefox, so that's probably what happened there.) In any case, if you get this pop-up crap in the future, immediately get out of Firefox, bring it back up without restoring your session, and install AdBlock Plus in Firefox. You should be good-to-go after that. > From: Noelle <noelle> > Date: Tue, 7 Feb 2017 12:28:05 -0800 (PST) > > on laptop when i was looking up a website on Fire fox this came up > with person saying a warning and call 1-888-611-9668 > error code 0x8024402c windows couldn't install the definition > I did not call, looked up this on personal computer Firefox > > //tipsforoptimalbrowsing.blogspot.com/2016/01/get-rid-of-attention-computer.html > > I reset and restarted Firefox but not sure what else to do > the popup warning is gone
